Pi Day

Monday the 14th of March 2025

Pi Day, celebrated annually on March 14th, is a global tribute to the mathematical constant π (pi). This year, our school embraced the spirit of Pi Day with a highly successful bake sale organised by Year 9. The event was not only a celebration of mathematical concepts but was also an opportunity for the year 9 students to show-case their creativity and community spirit.

The bake sale was a resounding success, marked by enthusiastic participation from every class. Each form created their own stall, offering cakes, cookies and sweets that were creatively decorated with pi symbols and mathematical themes. Although each form did very well, 9T's stall stood out the most, winning the top prize for their delicious offerings and excellent decorations. All proceeds from the bake sale will be donated to the different form ‘First Give’ charities.
