I really enjoyed the author talk trip to North London Collegiate School. It was an unforgettable experience.  On arriving we were welcomed with kind smiling faces and the Librarian escorted us to one of their auditoriums.

Penny Joelson read an extract from her new book that she is writing, we were very privileged to hear this before it has been published! Penny also spoke about her career and her journey to becoming an author.

To finish there was a question and answer session, which I had mine written on cards ready (always be prepared), followed by lunch in their beautiful library.

Overall, I had a lovely time, and took home a signed copy of one of Penny’s books.

Thank you to all the staff who planned this trip for us and made it happen.
