Year 8 North London Collegiate School G&A Trip
07.03.2025
My friends from Sacred Heart and I had the chance to visit North London Collegiate on Friday 7th March and it was definitely not just about textbooks and curriculum. Instead, we got to use our brains in a completely different way. We analysed Shakespeare’s play Henry V, working in small groups in a way where we were running our own theatre companies, handling everything from lighting to acting, delivery, props, etc. It was really fun to think of how we would present the play in our own way, and at the end, we all presented our versions through interviews, performances, and more. The students and teachers there were very welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We ended with some coding, learning how to crack cipher codes with the help of sixth-form students. We all felt like secret agents for a bit. Overall, it was a great day, and I think we all did a good job.
