In early July, our school held an election to mirror the general election taking place across the country. Prior to this our candidates, representing the Conservative, Labour and Liberal Democrat parties had spoken at assemblies to all the students, setting out their policies and taking questions from the floor. On the day, a team of helpers from Year 10 collected the ballot papers and did the count. It was an exciting and closely fought election with Shreayaa in 10T winning for the Labour Party.
